If you happen to be in town on Saturday morning, you might want to walk over to the Farmer's Market, next to the downtown train depot, two blocks west of Park Avenue. This market shows the real community behind the upper-crust facade. Friends and neighbors gather to shop for fresh fruits and vegetables, breads and pastas, fish, sausage, herbs and spices, and colorful fresh flowers and tropical plants.
