Oktoberfest runs 365 days a year here. The cheerful, sometimes raucous crowds are what you would expect in a place with an oompah band. Waitresses in Bavarian garb serve breseln, fresh, hot German pretzels. Both the menu and the level of frivolity are the same at lunch and dinner, with a huge assortment of classic German fare in the one-price all-you-can-eat buffet ($19.99 for adults, $7.99 for kids ages 3-11 at dinner). For that price, there are mountains of sauerbraten, bratwurst, chicken schnitzel, as well as a good apple strudel and Black Forest cake. And if you aren't feeling too Teutonic, there's a great rotisserie chicken and roast pork in unlimited amounts. Patrons pound pitchers of all kinds of beer and wine on the long communal tables -- even when the yodelers, singers, and dancers aren't egging them on.
