Hollywood Brown Derby

At this reproduction of the famous 1940s Hollywood restaurant, the walls are lined with movie-star caricatures, just like in Tinseltown. The house specialty is the Cobb salad, which by legend was invented by Brown Derby founder Robert Cobb; the salad consists of a lettuce base with bacon, blue cheese, tomatoes, chopped egg, and avocado tossed table-side. The rest of the menu is more up-to-date, with offerings such as rock shrimp quesadillas with cilantro cream and skillet-fired polenta-dusted grouper. The best dessert choice is the chocolate banana cake served with buttery rum ice cream and candied hazelnuts.
