Seasons 52

Every week of the year is its own season with its own special cuisine. At least that's the concept behind the restaurant name, and the company behind this restaurant knows a bit about restaurant concepts. It's Darden Restaurants, purveyors of Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Bahama Breeze, and Smokey Bones Barbecue. The idea at Seasons 52 is to serve fresh ingredients at their peak, so the menu changes often. But typical offerings (all with low calorie counts) include sesame pork chops with chilled asparagus citrus soy dressing, and grilled sea scallops with pasta and black mussels steamed in orange ginger broth. "Mini indulgence" desserts, like butterscotch pudding and rocky road ice cream, are designed to keep calories in check. Although the cuisine is haute, the prices are low -- not bad for an urbane-feeling bistro with 70 thoughtfully selected wines by the glass.
