If you're a racing fanatic, this is your place. If the memorabilia on the walls is not enough for you, a couple of actual race cars hang from the ceiling. The food is decent: highlights include a good chicken mushroom soup (with grilled chicken and shiitake mushrooms), fried chicken over smashed potatoes, smoky mountain BBQ ribs, and the Thunder Road burger, with melted pimento cheese and sautéed onions. Aside from the white chocolate cheesecake, desserts are largely forgettable.
