Named for the big glass atrium surrounding the restaurant, the Crystal Palace is a great escape in summer, when the air-conditioning is turned down near meat-locker level. The buffet-style meal includes upscale mass-meal items, from prime rib to peel-and-eat shrimp, with pasta, fresh-baked breads, and ice cream sundaes part of the package (dinner price is $19.95 for adults). There's also a kids-only buffet with macaroni and cheese, hot dogs, and pizza for $9.95 per child.
