JB's Sports Bar & Restaurant has been around since 1987, surviving on the sports-mindedness of Universal employees, Disney cast members, and locals. Weeknights are fine, but on weekends and during big games, the place is like a frat-house party, with 28 TVs broadcasting the action and beer flowing nonstop. You can shoot some darts during commercials. JB's is in a shopping plaza, and its appearance is as basic as its bar food: hot dogs, wings, and sandwiches. Head for the enclosed patio if you need a break from the noise.
