Chef Andrew DiCataldo shines at this festive tapas bar, in ABC Carpet & Home, as is his stupendous Mexican barbecue restaurant. The continually evolving menu has 50-plus items including cocas, flavorful pizzalike flat breads covered with savory toppings such as mushrooms dappled with truffle oil or four cheeses. More traditional tapas such as lamb meatballs in an earthy gravy and grilled chorizo come in traditional clay dishes, and are perfect for nibbling with one of the many sherries on the wine list. ABC's design team did the decorating, and the result is rather Victorian gypsy, which dozens of motley chandeliers and enjoyably tight quarters. Reservations essential.
