Pearl Oyster Bar

At long last, Pearl Oyster Bar, once no bigger than a bivalve, is expanding. Owner Rebecca Charles bought out the antiques shop next door and doubled the number of seats in her wildly popular restaurant to 50. But chances are you'll still have a bit of a wait for the fresh seafood: chilled oysters to start, naturally, followed by bouillabaisse, a whole fish, or perhaps the famous lobster roll. Locals know to come by for a lazy lunch at the bar, when you can down some bluepoints and beer in peace. Subway: A, B, C, D, E, F, V to W. 4th St.
