Roy's New York

Roy's New York is the only place in town where you're guaranteed to be able to order primo Pacific Ocean fish. The restaurant, part of Hawaii-born pioneering chef Roy Yamaguchi's growing empire of Pacific-Rim eateries, ships in Sandwich Island delicacies such as opakapaka (snapper) and mahimahi a few times a week. The menu features such appetizers as blackened tuna in spicy soy-mustard butter and such rich entrées as misoyaki butterfish in a sizzling soy vinaigrette. Roy's stands in high culinary contrast to its largely meat-and-potatoes Wall Street neighbors. Subway: R, W to Rector St.
