Opened by the sons of celebrity restaurateur Sirio Maccioni (Le Cirque 2000), this less formal place celebrates the Tuscan cooking of their mother Egi. The contemporary menu offers a wide selection and includes some traditional Tuscan specialties, such as Egi's ricotta-and-spinach-filled ravioli, tossed in butter and sage and gratinéed with imported Parmesan. The pizza pazza (crazy pizza) has a delicate layer of mascarpone cheese and porcini mushroom sauce topped with thin slices of prosciutto di Parma.
