Barbetta Operated by the same family since it opened in 1906, Barbetta offers a uniquely authentic Piemontese experience in a throwback of a dining room that evokes the tired, old-world charm of Turin, once the seat of the Savoy kingdom. The vast menu highlights dishes from the restaurant's past, as well as traditional Piemontese cooking. Pasta, like the eggy tajarin, and risotto stand out. A beautiful garden affords a lovely summertime setting. Incidentally, Barbetta claims to be the first restaurant in New York to serve white truffles, in 1962.
