William Morris Gallery

An 18th-century house in northeast London where the artistic polymath William Morris (1834-96) -- craftsman, painter, and writer -- lived for eight years, this gallery contains many examples of his work and that of his fellow artisans in the Arts and Crafts movement. The shop sells Morris prints on stationery and other artsy gifts. Tube: Blackhorse Road, then Bus 123 to Lloyd Park stops outside the gallery.
