With a wonderful black-and-white mock-Tudor facade, it's a peacock among pigeons in humdrum Regent Street. Inside, it's a labyrinthine building, full of nooks and crannies stuffed with goodies, like a dream of an Eastern bazaar. Famous principally for its fabrics, it also has an Oriental department, rich with color; menswear that tends toward the traditional; and women's wear by the latest names in fashion.
