Many and varied artisans have to pass rigorous selection procedures to set up in the prime riverside workshops and make, display, and sell their work. The workshops are glass-walled, and you're invited in, even if you're just browsing. You can commission, too -- anything from a cushion cover to custom-made jewelry, furniture, and sculpture. There are 23 studios in all, over two floors. The trendy Oxo Tower Brasserie & Restaurant is on the top floor, with a fantastic view across the river.
