Gallipoli II It's a noisy neighborhood restaurant with loads of style. Crammed full of tables, there's always room for one more. The meze (a spread of small dishes) is the best first act: it's full of flavor and color (the falafel and the kisir, crushed wheat with walnut and onion, are particularly good). With hot breads fresh from the oven, you won't need more. The bone-of-lamb incik (boiled with red, green, and white peppers) is tender, and the baklava is worth the indulgence. Reservations essential. Address 120 Upper St., London, EnglandPhone 020/7359-1578Payment Info MasterCardVisa |
