It's the gastro-pub of gastro-pubs, and it belongs in the "Restaurants" section by virtue of the amazingly good-value Portuguese-Spanish food. There are about nine dishes on the menu each day -- a pasta, three vegetarian, and/or risotto always among them. Quite a few places in London charge three times the price for similar food, but there's a welcome trend toward pubs serving good meals, a trend that the Eagle all but started.
