There's an upscale, buzzy, all-day atmosphere at this excellent addition to the Brompton Road dining scene. Henry Harris's smart French brasserie packs them in because he does the simple things well -- and doesn't charge the earth. Classics like steak au poivre with bearnaise sauce, or chilled cucumber and mint soup, hit the spot. Desserts are £6 and wines by the glass are reasonably priced. Tube: S. Kensington.
