Situated in a canal house, The Frozen Fountain carries innovative contemporary/futuristic furniture and home accessories from top Dutch designers, such as a pieced wooden kast (closet) by Piet Hein EEk, but you'll also find artistic perfume dispensers, jewelry, and carpets. The store mixes minimalism with chandeliers and rococo seats. Part of the store is a museum shop for the Textile Museum, where original European fabrics are on offer. Frozen Fountain's exhibition space showcases the hottest young design talents -- names making the headlines are Hutton, Arad, Newsom, Starck, Wanders, and Jongerius.
