Possibly the largest bookstore in Amsterdam, De Slegte is a true haven for book hunters. Every floor stocks tomes in various languages and in every subject (fiction and nonfiction) that you could want. They're particularly known for their large nonfiction section of popular titles at bargain prices, and upstairs floors have a humongous antiquarian book section. Book-lovers could spend hours here.
