Kunst- & Antiekcentrum De Looier

For a broad range of vintage and antique furniture, curios, jewelry, clothing, and household items, try Kunst- & Antiekcentrum De Looier, a cooperative housing more than 80 dealers, making it the largest covered art and antiques market in The Netherlands. You wouldn't be the first to get a great buy on an antique doll, a first-edition book, military memorabilia, or even a jeweled trinket. The best days to go are Wednesday, Saturday, or Sunday, when all the vendors, including the tafeltjesmarkt (one-day table rentals), are present. Your fellow browsers may even be dealers back home -- right after a book on Delftsblauw (Delft Blue pottery) collectibles was published some years ago, a virtual army of dealers from the United States descended on De Looier market and snapped up just about every piece of Delft (if foolishly ignoring the large assortment of equally interesting and collectible Makkumware).
