Koerdistan Holland is in that part of Europe that is sadly north of the garlic border. Hence the Dutch are still babes in the woods when it comes not only to spicing but also to charcoal grilling. However, Middle Easterners have been mastering grilling technology since the dawn of time, and it really shows in this shockingly inexpensive Kurdistan grill restaurant, where you can score a three-course meal for a mere EUR12 (with a friendly lesson in Middle Eastern politics thrown in for free). Everything here is simply delicious: from the fish to the meat to the mezes.
