There's no sign of Tex in this very friendly Mex. In fact, one could wager that few Texans have the courage to try their cactus salad (even though the main ingredient is happily de-spiked) or their version of the popular Day of the Dead dish, the enchilada with mole (which also happily is more about a cocoa-based sauce than blind rodents). But all visitors are invariably charmed by the young service and the relaxing-in-the-barrio environment. And they ably pass the ultimate tests: their selection of tequilas is deliciously ample, and their margaritas have all the requisite bite and zest you could ever wish for.
