"The Stuffed Cow" is as friendly and socially cozy as its upstairs bar, "The Cow," but it's never so crowded as the skinny kitchen where sardined cooks manage to pump out wonderfully prepared dishes from an ever-changing menu that tends to favor less -- strange, considering it's name -- beef and more fish and ostrich (in truffle sauce!). In short: this is the ultimate in earthy Dutch eating cafés where a Yuppie is yet to be sighted. Their menu changes every day but one constant is a daily special priced at a mere EUR7.95.
