"It’s prom season so my family and I made it a weekend at the Gaylord starting Friday evening.(6/5/26)
Everything went well, even with overnight staff and valet! However the second day really surprised me. I was handling a couple things Saturday morning (6/6/26) and the front desk person was very rude. He kept calling me a sir even after showing him my ID, unwilling to acknowledge my late check out request and I believe I have been double charged(he made me swipe my card again for incidentals) after showing him my transactions.
After a beautiful but physically draining night, I did not have it in me to keep going back and forth. I just decided to handle it later. I’m still waiting for everything to settle in my account in order for me to see, but he definitely left a nasty taste in my mouth.
I also had to pay again for valet, but they told me in the beginning, the charge would come out of my incidentals.
The money really isn’t the focus, I’d just preferred if things went a lot smoother and I got the respect that I give out.
Still a great stay none the less. Prom went amazing for the kiddos."
