It seems we need to clarify some matters for you and other readers.
1. As the owner, at check-in I explained that you'd chosen to use an online travel booking agency rather than direct, which if you had've we would have made you aware that the price you had paid was for usage of one bed only. As you requested with us to use two beds, you were charged the additional fee, just like all of our Guests.
2. Unfortunately, for reasons best known to yourself, you chose to cut my check-in introduction/overview short and leave to go to your instead, I was unable to explain that we'd pre-set our air cons to go to the heat cycle, due to the extremely cold nights we'd been experiencing at the time. I would've also explained that you only had to pop over (approx 15m) to us at Reception and request our assistance to adjust the mode from heat to cool. In addition, the air con was not "fixed" to 26 degrees as, again, during my check-in intro it is part of our normal procedure to explain that the temperature can be increased/decreased by Guests as they please, along with the fan speed. Unfortunately in your haste to leave Reception, none of this was explained. Later, when your wife commented to us about the air con won't cool, we explained the above to her which she accepted. We also changed the mode for you.
3. Room 1 at our Motel has a Queen and 2 Singles. Your room, number 2, has a Queen and a Single. Your perception of "small" is contrary to other Guests who've commented to us, often, that our rooms on that side of the complex are surprisingly large, given they weren't built recently. Room 2 is approx 25m2, containing amongst other things a Queen bed, a Single bed, two bedside tables, a sitting/lounge chair, bench with two seats, full size bar fridge along with a separate room within, containing the bathroom/shower/toilet.
4. It's a shame we have little control over what time Guests choose to arise, in addition to their respective noise levels, as we would've acted accordingly, which may I suggest you also had the option to do, requesting them to respect other Guests who don't need to be awake at that time.
5. You are correct in that there is no designated undercover car parking for Room 2. Around 80% of our complex does in fact have a designated undercover carparking spot, right at the door, and yours was one of those that didn't, meaning it was approx 10m away from your room.
In summary, I invite you, and other readers of this, to visit any online Review platform they desire, because the vast majority of our Guests are overwhelmingly praiseworthy of the efforts we undertake to assist in their stay being as clean and comfortable as possible.
