“Front Desk Service Very Good/Room Needs Work!”

Hotel desk service person was very helpful and friendly. Room was clean. However the condition of the room was poor. Bed was very uncomfortable, lights were old and even difficult to turn on as switches were old. Towels were thin and few and bath towel would be perfect for a small child!

“Swimming? Maybe not.”

The price and location was good, and the staff and service was very helpful, but I wouldn't recommend swimming or hot tub. The swimming pool, we were told, is not heated and is at whatever the ambient temperature happens to be, and it was quite cold. Even the kids complained. The hot tub was only luke-warm, and we were told that they have to keep it at this temperature since putting in a new unit. My bath water is warmer than this hot tub. Overall we were pleased and may stay again, but not if we intend to swim.

Area recommendations
This area is just a few miles from East Town Mall in Madison, which has all the usual mall conveniences.

“Not impressed”

We Stayed at the Days Inn Madison NE on our way to IL. We checked in around 11 asked for extra pillows were told they did have any. We went to our room it was clean but a little dated. The pillows were horrible, bed hard. Breakfast was just coffee, juice, toast and some pastries. The price was not bad, hotel was ok for just passing through.

“Not the best Days Inn that I stayed in.”

The room was clean, and the general appearance of the hotel was good, but the bed was less than ideal, and it took two pillows to make one. The room wasn't over priced, and it was close to the freeway with places to eat close by.

“Humble but nice”

Some rooms are better kept than others but it is very economical and the workers are very friendly

“great option”

The place was very basic but nice. I wish the hot tub would have been up and running and that there was more protein offered at the breakfast bar. oh, and watch out for the coffee...NASTY!

“No Complaints”

The best deal for your money. Coming from Maryland, I am used to spending a lot for lodging and getting nothing for the inflated price.......not even parking. It is very refreshing to me that you can still get top notch service, very clean accommodations AND breakfast for a reasonable price. Well done!

“NOT BEST LOCATION FOR MADISON”

ONLY NEGATIVE NOTE--LEFT papers IN ROOM . Was advised they were put in mail a week ago. Have not rec'd yet.

“Great stay”

The hotel was conveniently located off the expressway, but didn't notice much noise. Loved the pool, whirlpool and sauna! Kind of standard, but nice hotel room with very adequate furnishings. Enjoyed the free breakfast with lots of choices to eat. Very pleased with our stay, and at an affordable price.

Traveller's tip
Only drawback is we were looking to be closer to UW campus for graduation week, but those rooms were very pricey for that weekend. Great room and amenities, and would definitely return again.
