Thank You for your constructive feedback and experiences at the lodge. The Lodge has only recently changed hands so we are working with our partners, listening to our guests and management and there are many things to consider and work out before we bring in changes. There has been a receptionist here at the Lodge 4-5 hours each day in the past 3 or more weeks so apologies if they were not here at the same time as you were.This aspect may change in the future and certainly we have given guests a tour and pointed out where the fridges and kitchen, laundry and spa are.We do manage to connect with most of our guests during their stay.Merry Christmas Denise and wishing a happy festive season & New Year ahead.Warm regardsBridgit ParkerAssistant manager

Hi Kim, My apologies for the lack of response during your stay, Saturday morning saw me driving to Dunedin for a family medical emergency where I spent the weekend. Unfortunately we cannot be at the Lodge at all times and as such there will be instances where guests can check themselves in and out with the information provided after booking.
