Very comfortable small hotel a short walk from downtown in a lovely stream side neighborhood. Complete guest kitchen and outdoor space with hot tub. Great choice for a visit to Wanaka
Overall an excellent place to stay, hence our multiple repeat stays. The lack of milk (it was over a week past use by date) for the tea & coffee supply, and only 6 coat hangers fro two people on a ski trip (you need a minimum of 6 each!) detracts from what is otherwise really very good.

HiThanks for your review, we're glad you enjoyed your stay.Did you find the drying room downstairs? There are a multitude of coathangers there available for everyones use.I'm not sure about the milk situation, we supply (free of charge) UHT milk and expiry date is next year.We do not put fresh milk in the refrigerator for guests use as it can become complicated.Kind regardsWanaka Springs
My partner and I stayed there for 2 nights. It has a big communal fully-equipped kitchen opening out onto beautiful outdoor area and garden. It also has a beautifully decorated communal lounge. We had a mountain view room with our own outdoor sitting area. The room was large and comfortable. Our room didn’t get serviced during our stay so we had to take the rubbish to the kitchen and get clean mugs and glasses from the kitchen ourselves. Please note that this didn’t bother us. The location was great with walking distance to town centre. Overall, we enjoyed our stay there.
A short walk to the lake and restaurants. Pretty gardens, very quiet and staff was very friendly.

Hey, thanks Gary for taking the time to write a review. Feedback is so helpful for us to refine our amenities, services and presentation. We hope to see you again. Regards Frances
It had the feel of a home. Very nice common areas. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was no ac so the room was initially a little warm. We opened the windows and it cooled down nicely. By shutting the windows and curtains in the morning the room stayed cool. The proximity to town was a plus.

Thank you for your comments. It's great for our team to get this positivity. Air conditioning is definitely one of the 'must have' when we upgrade. Best regards
An unexpected gem. Property was indeed set up lodge style with a comfortable living room and large, well equipped communal kitchen/living room which allowed some degree of interaction between what inevitably were interesting International travelers. Rooms with small patios plus a larger patio off the kitchen. An outdoor hot tub was available at no additional charge. Our room was compact ans very clean. An easy ten minute walk took us to the heart of Wanaka. Would return here next visit.

Thank You Albert,It is always appreciated to receive feedback. We hope you also got to enjoy the outdoor Flora, natural spring, seating and even the spa.Warm regardsBridgit parkerAssistant Manager
Good instructions on how to gain entry, there was no lodge reception personnel. I was disappointed in the size of the bedroom and the smallest fridge in the main kitchen which was pretty full with other guests food. It wasn't till after packing away my food I discovered there was another fridge freezer available in the downstairs garage. Due to an elderly parent with me that wasn't a suitable arrangement. The grounds are stunning and if bigger the room was clean and well dressed.

Thank You for your constructive feedback and experiences at the lodge. The Lodge has only recently changed hands so we are working with our partners, listening to our guests and management and there are many things to consider and work out before we bring in changes. There has been a receptionist here at the Lodge 4-5 hours each day in the past 3 or more weeks so apologies if they were not here at the same time as you were. This aspect may change in the future and certainly we have given guests a tour and pointed out where the fridges and kitchen, laundry and spa are.We do manage to connect with most of our guests during their stay.Merry Christmas Denise and wishing a happy festive season & New Year ahead.Warm regardsBridgit ParkerAssistant manager
The lodge is beautiful. The garden is really peaceful and private. The hot tub an added bonus. The location is great - easy 5 minute walk to the lake/pubs/restaurants. Can’t fault it and would happily stay again.
We spent 3 nights in Wanaka Springs lodge and enjoyed every minute of it. The room was amazing, the view is fantastic, the hot tub is divine, and Suzanne is a fantastic host - very accommodating and helpful. The facilities were excellent - we were on our honeymoon so did very minimal cooking but it would definitely suit the needs of a family or anyone needing to do meal prep.

Thanks so much!:), so happy to hear your stay was an enjoyable one.
look forward to welcoming you again in the future.
Lovely room and a short walk into the heart of Wanaka. The hosts weren't present when I checked in, but they went out of their way to make themselves known and give us a warm welcome. Very appreciated.
A very warm and friendly atmosphere. The owners were friendly and had lots of information about the area. Our rooms were warm and very comfortable. We also appreciated the full equipped kitchen available.

Quiet, comfortable, cozy and private accommodation. Kitchen area with outdoor decking. Lounge area with fire. This was a great place to stay, walking distance to town and the lake.
Very nice and helpful staff,
All kitchen amenities available just like at home.
Comfortable bed
Only one comment was that there was no microwave in the kitchen.
Otherwise all good.
Very close to the lake and other amenities

Thank you so much for your kind words, I am glad to hear you enjoyed your time at the Lodge and thank you for your feedback.
This was weird. We self checked in and out. Never saw a staff member. Our room wasn’t serviced... which wasn’t a huge problem as it was only a two night stay. However we phoned the number supplied and left a message on the first night as our TV didn’t work. We had no response over the two days.

Hi Kim,
My apologies for the lack of response during your stay, Saturday morning saw me driving to Dunedin for a family medical emergency where I spent the weekend. Unfortunately we cannot be at the Lodge at all times and as such there will be instances where guests can check themselves in and out with the information provided after booking. We hope the rest of your stay was enjoyable.
