Thanks Sue. Our deck is a highlight of staying at Island Time, especially with a new roof & railing. The little birds you saw above the deck are striated pardalotes using nests we made. Very endearing with their courting behaviour.

Our thanks Liz for your lovely review. We are currently staying at Island Time and can report the wallaby mum and her joey show up each evening for a feed of carrots. The tiny joey is totally off the cuteness scale. As for the possum, we see it most evenings. One night it broke into our esky on the deck and ate an avocado, several mandarins and even a grapefruit. Thanks Stuart. We got a chuckle from your amusing wind blasted description. Paint has flaked off exposed ends of our deck and steps but not the house itself. But agree you encountered extremely windy conditions during your stay as recorded by our weather station (70.8km/h), capped off by your return ferry being delayed by a day. Have spoken to our caretaker who apologises if there weren't sufficient rolls in the vanity cupboard as is normally the case (rolls are sometimes taken unfortunately). As for the wallabies, they have lots of new growth to feed on after good winter rains so seem a bit less visible.
