“Great hotel, when the temperatures are below 24C.”

Excellent location for touring Vienna. Clean, quiet (ask for a high floor). However, no air conditioning (at least on our floor, the 3rd.) Late June had a few hot days, and sleeping with open windows is no fun.

it is a great hotel right next to the old town city hall. it is close to most of the attractions within walk-able distance. hotel is clean and tidy, but with no air-conditioning system. i initially was offered a room at the top floor. however, the ceiling makes the room almost 1/2 of the room that i requested to exchanged. bathroom is kind of small that there is not much turn around space.

“High quality city hotel”

I stayed at the hotel for a week and was very satisfied with it. The room was comfortable and there was an extensive breakfast buffet available. It also had a free wifi service which worked well most of the time. It has an excellent location within easy walking distance of the centre of the city and attractions such as the Hofburg. It is also just a few minutes walk from a U-bahn station. I would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone visting Vienna for business or leisure.

Excellent hotel, very quiet location, very clean and modern rooms, close to public transportation (tram, U bahn), easy access to major sights, a block away from the beautiful Rathaus and its adjacent park. Complimentary wired internet access is great! Breakfast not included (EU$15), though.

for the price you pay and the location of the Hotel is the best place to stay, additionally the staff is very friendly and the hotel is very clean!

“Ideal for tourists”

This is an excellent hotel to choose for a visit to Vienna. It is very quiet and comfortable and the breakfasts are varied and high standard. It is close enough to the centre to walk in and is also near a subway station (Rathaus) if you get too tired to walk back.(NB in April 2013 a 24 hour pass for subways, trams and buses cost Euro 6.70 per adult). The hotel is also only 4 minutes walk away from Freyung, a beautiful little part of the city which reminded us of Hampstead - lots of lovely restaurants and shops. Make sure you visit the Freyung shopping arcade (similar to the Burlington Arcade in London) and take coffee and cake at the famous Cafe Central with its beautiful vaulted ceiling.
