Fabulous Cottage!
This little cottage has all you need/want, and everything is comfortable and clean. You own little home, beautifully decorated with 1 car garage underneath the living space. Love the koi pond and waterfall. Thank you for a great stay, Rich and Allison.

My husband and I wanted a place to stay where we could access downtown Victoria, but also be convenient to trails and other outdoor activities. This place was perfect. Location: 30 minute easy drive to the heart of Victoria, and 15 minutes from many, many trailheads. We walked through temperate rain-forests and up rocky cliffsides. So easy to access! We were also very convenient to groceries, etc. and in an absolutely lovely, quiet neighborhood. Owners are nearby, but completely unobtrusive. Quality: we have stayed in a lot of VRBOs, and this was one of the nicest. Just the quality of kitchenware, sheets, etc. was superb. They even supply some plastic wrap, coffee filters, laundry soap, etc. so you don’t have to buy everything! The place is not large, but it was plenty for the two of us. We would definitely stay here again if we ever make it back to Vancouver Island!

Very nice accomodation, perfect for a couple. Garage to park your vehicle and store bikes etc., washer and drier, kitchen is very well equipped. This accomodation is in a nice neighbourhood and is very quiet. Would recommend to a freind for sure!

Perfect getaway
We came here over New Years for my birthday. The property was as described and close to everything we wanted to do. We went to the Hand of Man Museum which is north of Victoria by 50 miles, but we’ll worth the drive. Stoped at the Manahat walkway. The views were great as the lowland fog had just cleared as we got to the top.

Quails Run Retreat can simply be surmised in one word, "Superior". Attention to detail and all the awesome amenities set a very high standard that others can only hope to emulate. Clear instructions and procedures allow for a seamless check-in/out. The superb coach-house is tucked away on a safe, tranquil and premiere location within Bear Mountain coupled with close proximity to all one's needs and more with Victoria just a few minutes away. Bear Mountain Retreat
Everything about this rental experience was terrific. Communication with the owners was seem less, and the property was even nicer than the pictures! Bear Mountain is a real gem of a community, and this was a great alternative to staying at the actual hotel nearby. Would hesitate to recommend this rental to anyone. Enjoyed our stay immensely!

Totally met our needs
We thoroughly enjoyed our biking vacation on Vancouver Island. Lochside Trail and Galloping Goose Trail were wonderful and it was great to have a perfect home base with secure bicycle storage, comfortable bed, and well equipped kitchen. The accommodation was everything we wanted and we will be returning in the future. The location of the rental was quiet, peaceful and away from the crowds in Victoria. As well as its location at Bear Mountain Resort, it was near major stores like Costco and Save On Foods in Langford.

Stunning home in lovely Bear Mountain
They have thought of everything! The lovely sheets, terribly comfortable bed, fast wi-fi all the way down to a cheese plate and large salad bowls! We loved this house and were sad that we were only there for three weeks. My husband will miss the songs that all the brand new LG appliance would sing when he started them up! THANK YOU!

This property was exactly as displayed on the VRBO site. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. Even though we did not use the ensuite laundry facilities it was nice to have them available. The attached garage was a real bonus for loading and unloading our gear. We would stay again!

Absolutely LOVE this little Coach House! It's like my home away from home now! It has everything you could possibly need and is very comfortable and cozy. It's your own little house with a garage, beautiful washer dryer, big comfy bed and wonderful top notch details. Remarkable little getaway!
It was our first time booking on VRBO and we were not disappointed. The location, and house were beautiful. I'd recommend to anyone. The owner was very helpful, checking in and out was a breeze. Great place!
We were there for 2 months and the place was very nice and the owners were responsive and friendly. Very quiet neighbourhood. Garage was a bonus for bike and other of our spare items. Had issue with dishwasher and it was replaced within a few days. A few minute drive to grocery, pubs, restaurants, walking paths and other services. Within 20 minutes to several challenging golf courses. Really enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

So nice we’ve been twice.
Excellent location for hiking, 20-30 min easy drive to downtown Victoria to see the sights. Lots of shopping, dining choices within 10min drive but house is very well equipped for bringing your own eats, very helpful these days. Everything you need is provided including excellent snow removal services! Thanks for a great stay, would highly recommend.

My wife and I stayed here while visiting friends and exploring Vitoria. The property was quiet, clean, comfortable, and everything was well-organized and labelled. Really it was ** just perfect ** for us. Having the garage to store our mountain bikes was great. Rich was great and gave us any information we needed. We were both super-pleased with our stay. Living the Dream
This was our second stay with Rich and we stayed 2 weeks with our 2 young daughters. This space feels incredibly private, like a mini house, excellent AC units in both the main living room and the bedroom which make the stay very comfortable. Well stocked kitchen and we love having the garage for easy packing and unpacking on beach days, great laundry room. If you include last summer we have now stayed a total of 24 nights in this rental and it always leaves us searching for homes for sale in the area. We have plans to move our family to Langford in the coming years, perfect location.

Beautiful Carriage House
From heated floors to a fully stocked stainless steel kitchen, Quails Run is ideal. A small problem with the heat was dealt with quickly and that’s with the owner out of town, thanks. My only negative was the bed was too soft for my liking but we are all have our own taste when it comes to firmness of a mattress. Perfect couples retreat in the heart of Bear Mountain, hope to stay there again soon.

My husband and I enjoyed 6 weeks at Quail's Run Retreat. We found everything to be as noted in the listing regarding the premises' high end furnishings and amenities. The generous first floor laundry room and private parking garage are a few of the special bonuses in this truly private carriage house. Bear Mountain Resort
First of all Bear Mountain is an absolutely gorgeous setting. While we could walk to the town centre from this location, if we drove, parking was definitely a problem near the Hotel. My husband and I enjoyed this rental unit as it was perfect for a couple. I would not recommend it for more than 2 people. Our host and the facilities were excellent.
