Good: The location was great, very close to the main Termini station for airport and many other transport links and within easy walking distance of a number of sights. The staff were very friendly and helpful, even when we arrived early. We were able to leave our bags with confidence and they even placed them in our room for when we got back from exploring a few hours later. There are a number of restaurants on the same block as the hotel and the one directly next door had phenomenally good food at reasonable prices.
Not so good: the room we had was a little dated and worn with a few missing tiles in the shower but it was very clean. The noise insulation between the rooms wasn't brilliant but didn't disturb us when we were trying to sleep
Hotel Re provided foundation for very successful & happy trip to Rome. Great staff: manager Maurice [that's the English language version of his name] is built like a rugby lock but a lot more welcoming!! As soon as we hit the desk he pulled out a map to show us the best way to get to places, highlighted the areas to avoid at night, what buses to use, suggested places to eat & where to shop. Hotel is quiet in area where there are a lot of Government Ministries and it's clean. It's close to the city centre & there's a good supermarket about 10 minutes walk away.
Be aware that hotel lobby is on 2nd floor [the lift to it was built during Caeser's time] the breakfast room is a bit cramped & internet for guests slow. Nothing, though, that would stop us going back there again.
From the moment we walked into the hotel out incredibly fantastic experience began! The decor and look of the hotel is old world class and beauty. It's visually stunning and this continued into the rooms. The staff was knowledgable, efficient, friendly, and ready to cater to every request. Have traveled many times in Europe and this has been the best hotel I have experienced. Would stay there again any time and hope to do so in the future.
This hotel far exceeded expectations, as the staff was amazing and helpful, and my room was as close to perfect as I could have wished. I'd definitely recommend this hotel and stay here for future trips to Rome.

Excellent hotel, well situated in Rome. Good freindly and helpful staff. Hotel was in good condition and very clean. I would recomend this hotel to anyone (we had a triple room with a balcony). Room 403 is quiet, being at back of hotel and elevated. Bed was comfortable, and shutters and curtains gave good black out. Breakfast was very good with excellent staff. Good eating places near by for evening meals.
The room was actually bigger than I expected. The desk managers were very helpful and kind. My only complaint was that we missed our breakfast one day as we had early morning tickets. It was to be served at 7 AM, but the woman in charge was late to work and we could not wait. Oh well.......seemed to be the attitude of the manager.
we opted for the sahred bathroom option. everything exceeded our expectation. Thank you Rudolph for being a fantastic host. only critisim would be the cig. smoke in the building which is a little off putting.but that does not affect the room or reception.
the shared bathroom was tiny for me i could barely fit in it being an avg size male, but everything was very clean.
Rudolph hoepfully you received our thank you note :)
