Fabulous staff and wonderful restaurant. Cafe Romano and the Bond Bar brilliant! Airconditioning was much improved from my last stay! I had an amazing time and the staff and other guests made it memorable!
delightful studio setting with the most courteous and friendliest staff- an oasis of comfort for frequent traveler fed up with more of the same impersonal service. will go back for every visit to Rome that's for sure.

Edwardian Hotel in amazing condition, it was even better than the photographs. The staff were not especially friendly, the same staff seemed to be on duty most of the time. The gentleman in charge at breakfast was the most pleasant and very efficient, breakfast was more than ample in a beautiful Edwardian dining room. Lovely white bed linen and towels. I would recommend going up to the roof terrace for a cocktail, expensive but lovely view of the Basilica opposite and the Spanish steps. We had a room facing the main street and the was live music on the pavement outside every evening which we enjoyed. We took the tour bus of the City, but catch the first one to ensure a seat upstairs. The city taxi's to and from the airport have a set charge which is displayed on the door & very reasonable. There were plenty of Taxi's from outside the Hotel, make sure to only use the one's with a badge on the door & a meter.
La Lumiere di Piazza di Spagna is in a great location near the Spanish Steps, and centrally located to most other attractions. The room was spacious and clean, the staff were very helpful, and breakfast in the roof top breakfast room was very good. The only 'complaint' I would have was connecting to the internet. The only place I could connect was in one chair in the small lobby near the desk. We would highly recommend staying here.

Inn Spagna is one of the nicest hotels that we have stayed in. It is a 2 minute walk to the Spanish steps and the keats, shelley house and is itself located in a 17th century building on a lovely old street. The location is as central as you might want, being very close to bigger streets that will take you directly to many of Rome's attractions on foot and it is also very close to a metro station. Aside from the beautiful location, (the hotel itself is very clean and our room was very nicely decorated and well provided), the main reason for this glowing review however is the hotel's staff who really, even in an ideal world, couldn't have been any nicer. Our luggage failed to turn up for two and a half days, which on a six day visit is not ideal. From the word go the staff were so helpful in every possible way. They had provided a taxi for us at the airport and although we were around an hour and a half late they kept in contact with us and the driver, making sure that we were okay. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they always got us the best deal on any tours (vatican, forum etc) that you booked with them. As well as all this they were very friendly, funny, intelligent and always seemed ready to discuss what you had been doing or intended to do that day with genuine interest! They really helped to get us through what could have been a rough start to our trip and I would thoroughly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a break right in the heart of Rome.
