Very nice hotel and very helpful staff. Only slight issue is that if everybody decided to go down to breakfast at the same time there would not be enough tables to cater for a full restaurant. That said, get down before 9am and you should be fine.

We loved our stay. The room whilst small was perfectly appointed. The staff are just wonderful. Bed linen and towels so fresh! Breakfast was excellent. Highly recommend:)

The best!
This place is awesome! When you arrive a host will give you drinks and snacks and go over their services. The breakfast was fantastic. Don't be fooled by the low price...you will not be disappointed. They could charge twice as much and it would still be worth it.

Me my wife and 2 teenage kids stayed here for one night. The only downside was that is was only one night. Amazing hotel, from cleanliness to the service provided. It is also a very secure place to stay, in a great location. I would definitely stay here again, and would highly recommend it

You won’t regret staying here!
I don’t write reviews but this hotel was AMAZING to say the least! The staff was so so kind! The breakfast was amazing and it was free! Hot breakfast w eggs and cheese and bacon and all of the above! It’s close to the main attractions. Location was great and the room was spacious and very cute! Wish our hotel was

Very nice staff. Very comfortable rooms. However, on the first night, our room was just above a bar pumping music until near 2am. We were moved to another room the next day that was much better.

Amazing place, great food, great staff. Cleaning crew needs to be more detailed with the floor found too much dust on the baseboards. Bed was super clean and comfortable. Bathroom super clean. Great hotel.

The room and the breakfast were excellent!! Staff was very helpful and courteous. Only criticism we had was that Corso Porta Nuova is the Main Street into the town, and very noisy with even Harley motorcycles and ambulances during the night. The city hadn’t authorized turning on the AC yet, so you could only open the window. We went the end of April/beginning of May and it was quite warm already, and we did not sleep that well with the noise - would recommend a room off the main street. Otherwise, the hotel was fantastic!! So close to everything!

Great hotel
Wonderful stay at this hotel, great location to get to the train station for our bus travel to the airport and from our stay in Lake Garda. Shower was great and bed really comfy, despite being next to main road, the glazing on the windows was so good we couldn’t hear the traffic. Couldn’t seem to get the air con to work in our room and woke up at 2am rather warm so opened the window, that was the only issue!

So good. This was such a nice hotel. The on site parking was super secure. The room was really nice. Two separate rooms. Beds were comfortable. Very conveniently located close to the Arena. The breakfast was adequate. But there was also a crepe restaurant and Turkish Donair restaurant right at the entrance to the hotel. I would stay here if I manage to make it back.

The room was very spacious and clean, with a big bathroom and comfortable bed. In close proximity to the main piazza, about a 5 - 10 minute walk into the heart of Verona. It was about a 15 minute walk to the train station. Very convenient for our one-night stop in Verona.

Very good location in the Verona city center and has friendly staff. If you want a royal atmosphere, that is the place to stay.

The hotel, once inside, was lovely. It was clean and pleasant and the staff were friendly and very helpful (particular thanks to Milka for pointing out the places of interest to us on a map and to Joaquin for looking after us at breakfast!) We walked up and down the street a few times and googled photos of the exterior of the hotel before finding it! The downstairs courtyard wasn’t a great look and it’s not clear where to go. But up the stairs to the first floor (or take the lift) and you are at reception. The hotel was very clean and well presented. Our room was spacious and the power shower was fabulous. The air conditioning was welcome as it was still warm in October. There were tea and coffee making facilities in the room but no milk was provided so we bought some from the local shop. There wasn’t a bottle opener in the room either but we were able to borrow one from reception. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Relais Empire. We explored a lot so the train station was handy being only a 10 minute walk away. Piazza Bra was only a short walk in the opposite direction so the hotel is well placed for exploring Verona and nearby cities.

The rooms are a bit on the small side but quite nice and what I'd call quirky. Our room had an excellent double shower. plenty of hot water. Very Italian in decor so make you feel there. It's quite an old building which we liked. Reception desk was very helpful. Breakfast room is quite small and we had to wait a few minutes to sit down. Break fast could be better.

Wonderful room service breakfast. Unfortunately they use very cheap tea. Bathroom sink smelled like mold and did not drain properly. The spa is kind of misleading since it costs extra and is not even located on site. Not soundproofed. Can hear neighbors clearly.

The location in Verona was perfect and parking was great too. The only real problem was finding the Hotel as there were no clear signs to say where it was. Rooms were terrific as was the breakfast. Staff were very helpful.

The location and condition of this hotel was outstanding. The staff were delightful, especially Veronica, who during check-in made us tea and coffee and sat us down with a map and charted out must see features of Verona. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend it heartily, but would only recommend a court-side room and not a street side room due to the street noise. On the negative side, our room was a bit too warm even with the thermostat turned down to 60 F, and opening the window brought in an all-night cacophony that was only exceeded by the cigarette smoke.
