"My longtime friend and I wanted a short getaway and chose this perfect little bungalow in Ventura. The home has virtually everything you need to feel at home. The kitchen is well appointed and it was fun to cook in, rather than eat out constantly. The backyard is a great area to relax in too. There are convenience stores and a Rite Aid/Vons within walking distance if you don’t bring your groceries with you. The beds are very comfortable and everything was extremely clean. "Great location, beautiful view and good food. The staff was very kind, especially the server with tattoos, he made us feel right at home. The restaurant was great and had many options. Overall, a great place. My only real complain is more of a warning to those staying here, it's located right next to the highway and the noise isn't an issue, it's the fact that you have to drive at least 15 minutes to get anywhere else like a store or a gas station. If you want to go back straight to the hotel after leaving, it's more like 25 minutes, so don't forget to grab everything you can!"
