Great views!!!
Will have to admit we almost passed up this little gem due to the fact it didn't list it had air conditioning in the room (stay was mid-Aug); hard to sleep if hot. The room did not have ac but the cool breeze off the lake was perfect! I am usually a mosquito attractant and will not sleep with the doors open but took the chance this time and had no issues. The view from this hotel is breathtaking and entertaining as the lake in front is a hot spot for windsurfers and kiteboarders. The owners were so kind and attentive. Breakfast was very good. So glad we didn't pass on this one!! Worth the stay for sure.

Great staff, awesome location, nice breakfast, overall the staff is very good! New management and we could see the hotel is being updated and remodeled. For the price the experience was excellent and we would certainly stay there again.

Beautiful location. Lovely restaurant. The only drawback is the walls are very thin. If not for that I wouldn’t hesitate to visit again.

A lovely family run hotel right beside Lake Como away from the bustle of the larger towns. Easy parking available right beside the hotel and a great restaurant net door. Hosts Carlo & Christina are so friendly & welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Short vacation on the lake before taking a cruise
Select this hotel over all others because the location and good reports. The owners were very diligents with us all time. They live on the same property and they're dedicated 100% to satisfy your needs.

Nice traditional hotel located on lakeside. Beautiful views accross lake. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Good size room which was comfortable and clean. Definitely worth booking lake view room as views are fantastic. Basic but very nice continental breakfast. Would definitely use again.

Great Hotel on the lakeside
A great lakefront hotel to stay in while visiting the Italian lakes. However you must have a car. The hosts were warm and wonderful and the room had an awesome balcony view. We woke up every morning to the gentle crashing of lake waves and a nice breeze. A good breakfast to start the day. Evening could be spend walking along the lakefront or exploring the nearby towns/restaurants. A very pleasant place away from the big city traffic and crowds. But still close enough.

Wonderful friendly and helpful staff. Very clean room and facilities. Great breakfast. Very nice views of the lake. The location is the only downfall...if you don't have a car then you will not be able to get around the area easily by foot or public transport.

Good Hotel
Great owner hosts. Clean rooms with balcony with lovely view of lake but try and book a terrace room if available for a little more outside luxury. Location good starting point for visiting other Lake towns. They always assured us of parking space upon return at end of day. Would stay again.

We had to make a last minute change to our plans and found Bellavista online. We weren't sure what we would get for the money, but it was great. The view of the lake from the room was awesome. Literally, right outside the window. The husband and wife staff are very nice and the restaurant next door is excellent (the meat and cheese appetizer is to die for). You would pretty much need a car to make this place work as it is a bit outside the town, but that is in part what makes is so nice. Plenty of parking.

Great stay. Christina and Carlos were amazing hosts, they helped us plan our days, suggested locations and itinéraires and we're delightful to deal with. Language was not an issue although sometimes we both struggled to find the right word in the others language. Lol. Fantastic location on the hotel facing directly onto lake Como, we had a room facing the lake with a balcony - spectacular to view activities on the lake or just enjoy looking at the reflection of the mountains in the water. Excellent stay, would come back again any time.

This is a great little hotel with charming hosts Christina & Carlo. The cleanliness of the rooms was exceptional. Very reasonably priced and right on the lake. The restaurant next door served the best meals we can remember after many trips to Italy. A gem!

Bellavista Lives Up to It's Name
The view of lake Como is truly beautiful. Our room had a large terrace that overlooked the lake. Wonderful place to unwind and relax with a wine. Owners were welcoming and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful for an Italy hotel breakfast. Will be back.

A great base from which to explore Lake Como if you like a quiet area with great views, outlook & being looked after. In a nice area on lake easily found from Lecco. Thanks to Carlos & Christina for the experience.

The owners were so nice and friendly and made you very welcome we had a laugh with every day. The room we had was a good size and very good as we had a car the location was good. We stayed for 4 night and would had like to stay longer if our plan would have allowed us.

Perfect spot and place
We booked this hotel the day before we arrived while on a three week tour of Italy. Lake Como was our last stop and I can't imagine staying anywhere else when we return (and we will!). The hotel is in a great, quiet location but with easy access to drive to anywhere you need to. The rooms are clean and the bathrooms a good size. We originally booked a garden view room as it was the only one available but the Landlady managed to upgrade us to a lake view room after one night and it was just fantastic. The whole hotel is run very efficiently by a wonderful couple who were so helpful, friendly and welcoming. The hotel has been in their family for three generations and it's lovely to support a business like this. The breakfasts were delicious, standard Italian buffet style. There is plenty of free parking. There are several very good restaurants, a gelateria and a bar within a short walking distance, as well as the hotel's own restaurant.

Great stay cut short due a missed connection. The owners were very nice and accommodating. We are at the adjacent restaurant and were quite pleased. We woke to dozens of windsurfers outside our window. We could stand on the balcony and watch their efforts. Quite entertaining.

2 nights stay at the Bellevista set on the Lake near Lecco. Run by a really friendly couple who take good care of their guests. Nice cloean comfortable rooms some with lake views some with views to the back. Wifi excellent, breakfast fairly basic, nearby bus to Lecco and Bellagio

The hotel was perfect for me to have access to the Lake Como area for the weekend of Il Lombardia. Back in the Coppi/Bartoli era the race went past the front door so the owner told me. Expect to have rain over the weekend though !

Great lake como view, nice and clean room, polite and helpful staff. Good breakfast. The thing that bothered me was that I could hear the other residents from the room and the smell of cigarettes when someone smoked downstairs.
