About this property

Entire place

You'll have the entire cabin to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Modern cabin offering incredible views with fire pit, spa and hiking trails.

A countryside retreat. This cabin is on top of a hill offering glorious views of the Capertee Valley.
The valley is world renown for its bird-watching but this property is also a working farm so you can visit our cows, sheep, chickens or pick some fruit from the trees.
We have 420 acres for you to explore with creeks, mountain bike trails and direct access to the Wollemi National Park.
Our wildlife spotting includes wombats, kangaroos, wallabies and echidnas to name a few.

The cabin has its own deck and is right beside a large fire pit with an amazing view across the valley.
This location is the pick of the views on the entire property. Each window in the cabin offers stunning mountain views.

We are in a secluded location if you are looking for a peaceful stay.
The drive through the Capertee Valley to our property is spectacular.
The only sounds you will hear are chickens, sheep, cows and the bird life.

If you enjoy hiking then explore our 420 acres which is a mix of grazing land, creeks, bush tracks, swimming holes and rainforest like gullies. Our property borders Wollemi National Park and we have direct access to it.
The Glen Alice Trail & The Bicentennial Trail are hiking tracks that cross through our property.

'Cabins at The Nile' is our Facebook page if you wish to see further photos of our property.

If you enjoy swimming we have several sandy creeks, a pristine swimming hole and a heated swim spa that can accomodate large groups.

Feel free to pick the fruit that is in season from our trees. We have fig trees, lemons, persimmon, plums, pears and mulberries to name a few.

The fire pit right beside the cabin is very popular with our guests. There is a grill plate atop so you can cook dinner over the fire or enjoy watching the sunset colours on the cliffs. We offer firewood for your stay at a small cost or feel free to bring your own.
When the sun goes down the star gazing is spectacular.

We have an additional brand new cabin ready to rent. It is on another part of our property which is more secluded. Please message me if you are interested in staying in this other cabin.

Own a 4wd? You are welcome to drive around our property and take in all the tracks & views that have been created in the landscape.

Take a drive to the 'Paddock Cafe' which is about 20 minutes drive from our property to grab your breaky or lunch feed. They use local produce and sell a large variety of locally made products.

Have a larger group?
We can accomodate camping and caravans. If you wish to book the cabin and then have camp sites nearby also we have done that before for larger groups. We book our camp sites through Hipcamp.

If this cabin isn't available for your required dates then please message us as we have an additional brand new cabin on our property we can also offer you.

Wonderful and welcoming hosts, in the most stunning and private valley. They offer so much! Wildlife, 4X4 tracks, camp fires friendly farm animals and stunning 360 views of the colourful Cliffs. It was well worth the stay and we will be back to visit again!

Off Grid Oasis
The Cabins at The Nile was the perfect spot to relax in secluded comfort. The cabin had everything we needed and the spa, and fire pit were great. The view at the top of the Glen Alice track in Wollemi National Park was worth the climb. All in all a great retreat. Thanks Mandy and Jake and Ziggy for making us feel so welcome

Amazing scenic stay, breathtaking
We originally booked for 2 nights but extended to 3 because it was so peaceful, stunning and amazing. The large warm water jacuzzi was a nice surprise! Especially swimming at night under the stays (it's abit hidden, down the hill in front of the home). The firepit allowed us to have great bbqs and the owners were so nice and accommodating! We ended up having drinks with them on the last night by the fireplace. Bring enough food for the stay because it's quite isolated. The views were breathtaking and different to other tiny homes, for the price we paid it was great value. I have already recommended this home to friends and family and we will coming back for sure! PS. Their dog Rizzy was a cute friend that kept us company the whole stay, a great tour guide amongst the farm.

Wonderful stay in remote, gorgeous location
Lovely, clean, well organised and designed 'tiny house' in a spectacular location, with great walks and opportunities to swim and beautiful countryside. The hosts are really helpful and the spa and fresh farm eggs are to be recommended. Clear night skies make for great star gazing.

Beautiful eco-friendly adventure
The Tiny House is set on a hill with 360 degree views of a spectacular escarpment and lush green valley. It has a spa under the stars, a lovely firepit to enjoy cool evenings, and wildlife galore (there was a lyrebird calling every day we were there). The Tiny house is tiny, but very modern and with all the equipment you need. It has a comfy bed and reliable wifi- two of the essentials! I was particularly impressed by the many windows allowing us to enjoy the views always.I highly recommend the property and thank our hosts for their unintrusive but eager to assist attention to our comfort.

Picturesque Weekend Getaway
We decided to spend this Christmas away from the city and this was the perfect getaway. The property is absolutely gorgeous, completely surrounded by beautiful mountains. The tiny home itself was great, very clean with an ideal layout, and an awesome deck. We made ample use of the firepit, grill, swimming hole, and outdoor spa. We didn't do much hiking but the fact the property has such easy access to a national park is awesome. Finally, the hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful, and the farm dog Ziggy was a highlight of the trip! We can't wait to come back.

Excellent stay
We were super impressed by our stay! The hosts were so welcoming and accomodating, the property was beautiful and the tiny home had all you could need. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend getaway with the spa, campfire and plenty to explore on and around the property. We’d highly recommend this stay to any of our friends and family.
