"Facilities are beautiful, off the beaten track. 20 min walk to Main Street. We were in the lotus suite two bedrooms lots of facilities private pool with only the monkeys watching. Upstairs twin rooms are separate from main room have to go outside stairs so kids felt a bit scared when monkeys followed. Keep doors shut will be ok. Can hear monkeys all night. But not too loud. Staff are beautiful they were in a ceremony when we arrived and were very apologetic for making me wait but it was a small wait. Happy to wait was beautiful to watch. The photos on here are nice but in real life it is so much more beautiful, I would stay here again and again. "

Beautiful respite in Ubud

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The service was excellent. The room was very nice with a view of the field and forest. We had a few monkeys around also. It was a very peaceful respite from the crowds and traffic in the Ubud area. The restaurant food was delicious and we actually ate most of our meals there as we wanted the peaceful setting after a hectic and tiring day of touring. Ubud is a somewhat central hub for visiting the other areas too, but you will spend a lot of time in traffic and driving distances. Ubud is crowded as narrow streets but many cars, scooters, and people all trying to get through. If you want to explore a lot of tourist spots then stay here. Tejaprana Brasma is the best in the Ubud area. If you want to just relax and enjoy nature then I would choose a quieter area of the country or just stay at the resort. For comfort issues the bed and pillows were firm for me but we made some adjustments that helped. Again if you want to stay in Ubud then this resort was excellent. "

"We stayed in a 1-bedroom villa for a week & absolutely loved every aspect of our experience! The staff are incredible- so kind, informative, and attentive, but also truly respected our privacy. Anything we needed was taken care of immediately. The staff truly made our stay feel like a 5-star experience. The Villa itself was beautiful! We were right up against Monkey Forest so the villa felt totally private- like a high-end oasis in the jungle. It was also fully stocked with toiletries & drinks for our stay. The turnover service was delightful. We were so grateful to have our own private pool too. It really elevated the experience & added a romantic flare. Oh, and the Japanese Tub was an awesome addition- great for a late-night soak after a long day of exploring. Note: do not leave food unattended as monkeys will snag a treat haha I was not expecting food to be a highlight but it totally was. We ate at Embers several times & also ordered breakfast to the villa, & we did lunch over at Copper as well. Every time, we were blown away. I had their chia pudding every morning & their chocolate mousse dessert might be the best I've ever had. The drinks were also phenomenal- low alcohol but that just meant I could try several. As if the taste wasn't enough, the presentation was impeccable! Truly like little pieces of art that happened to taste delicious. Ugh, so good! I absolutely recommend staying at Bisma Eight, & specifically at a Villa! Beyond worth it. We will be back!"
