"No surveillance in the parking lot. My vehicle many other vehicles ended up with a hole in the gas tank and being syphoned resulting in a damaged truck. I was there for three nights total after the second night. I asked that my room be made up and things restocked and nothing was cleaned or restocked returning at 4 PM that evening. We decided to check out and head home early. The staff were amazing i’m very good at dealing with the situation with the gas tank. It was not in the hotels control that that happened. Unfortunately, quesnel is just not safe."

"Check-in was easy. Said the had a pool but it was not evident. Bathroom fan was loud and ineffective. Clean bathroom with great shower. Easy walking distance to restaurants. It is on the main drag of 97N, so there was traffic noise."

"We stayed there from May 29-31. - ceiling in lobby/breakfast area leaking and no bucket or anything, dripping all over dining table/chairs - everything smells like cigarettes - our room had old food in fridge and ashes in bathroom. We changed rooms and our new room had brownish red stains on blanket, the concierge brought me a new blanket - couldn’t get a clear answer about the pool/hot tub but apparently it was “broken” so couldn’t use it, they still have it advertised on their board outside - my son was too creeped out to shower in the room so we had to shower at a relatives house Overall, staff were few and far between but the one I did talk to seemed like he was doing his best but was not well supported by management or owners. You’re better off staying at the Sandman a few minutes away for the same price and far better amenities"
