"THE Waldorf Astoria, Rome"
Checked out a day early and didn't have anyone inquire as to why. Also, they lost an airport pillow, no biggy though. BY FAR the nicest hotel my wife and I have stayed at bar none. Great food, great staff/service, great pool. If you haven't stayed at the Waldorf before (NYC etc) be prepared to pay 9€ for a fanta or 36€ for a margarita pizza. Compared to most restaurants where they charge 8€ for the pizza and 3€ for the fanta. Not at all a detriment but could catch some people off guard if you didn't do your research.

"Unique hotel aimed at music lovers"
Attentive, multilingual staff, prompt attention to inquiries & requests for information on transportation such as bus lines, duration of ride, frequency of service etc. Fast access to taxi service (within 3 minutes). Good proximity to Vatican City. Room maintenance & cleanliness was adequate. However, breakfast starts at 7AM, a bit late when attempting a head start on morning tours. Also more desk space is needed in the rooms as the drum lamp tables were too small. Overall, good accommodations.

"Good location, no in the center"
Overall, Hotel Clodio is a nice Hotel,,no something fancy, maybe the hallways need a little bit improve, the room is simple but comfy , the beds are ok, .The room was clean but small ( no rare in Rome) .Breakfast was good, location worked for us too, we aren't in the center of Rome, but close enough to the main atracttions ( bus ride 10 minutes,) .We came from the train station and took bus 30 , 10 minutes ride to the hotel, we got off at Clodio station, and walk 5 minutes to the hotel which is in a quite neighborhood. For the rate that we paid I think was a good deal. I will stay there again! Front desk staff are nice and ready to help, the speak English.

"Wonderful B&B"
Me and my friend stayed here in September 2014. B&B is clean, peaceful, nicely decorated and very cozy, with basic buffet breakfast. Our host was super attentive, gave us numerous advises. Location is bit far from center, but near to Vatican Museum and subway is 3 min walk away. Would recommend visitors of Rome and many thanks to "A Casa di Serena a San Pietro".

"Friendly staff, clean and well situated."
Enjoyed the sightseeing, lovely warm weather. Wear comfy shoes, lots of walking involved. Found supermarkets, shops and eating out to be quite expensive in comparison with UK prices. Take Ibuprofen and Paracetamol with you if needed as very expensive and only acquired from Pharmacies. Avoid early morning flights out of Rome. No public transport after 23.30 hours. Taxis are expensive at night and early morning, and can vary in price. Prices in the day are fixed to the airports.

I was afraid I will have very little because it was a very reasonable price. However from the very beginning to the end Amalia was professional and pleasant so it has been great. A wonderful vacation. Thanks Amalia

"Fabulous Roman Holiday! Must Stay at Almes Garden "
My mother and I had the pleasure of staying at the Almes Garden apartment from July 5- 8. Prior to our arrival, all of my emails were responded to quickly by Emanuela. She was very kind and helpful. We had a mixup at the airport with our private car driver, who did not know the correct address of the apartment (Almes Roma B &B is down the street from the Almes Garden apartment) but when we had not arrived at our estimated time, Emanuela's brother found us at the wrong address and escorted us to our proper destination. Be sure to write down your correct address prior to your departure to be prepared. Once we arrived, we were greeted by Emanuela's mother who was also so kind and lovely. The apartment is gorgeous and spotless. The beds are both super comfortable even the pullout sofa bed! The apartment is great, literally the most convenient location in Rome! At the end of your block, there is a delicious locals restaurant called Banana Republic that is open really late so you can rest after a busy day of sight seeing and have an amazing dinner at 10pm at night. There is also a lovely cafe for morning cappuccino on the next block. 5-10 minute walk to the main subway station and then 20 minute ride to the Coliseum or apartment is a 10 minute walk to Vatican City. We were 2 women in a strange city and we felt completely safe walking around the area around the Almes Garden apartment! At the end of our trip, we hailed a white taxi right outside of the apt and off to the airport.
