“Fantastic Staff and Welcoming, Warm and Comfortable Place to Stay”

The staff were fantastic, ready to help in anyway. The Breakfast buffet was great and I can't say enough nice things about the staff. They were ready with a smile and to assist in anyway they could and the rooms were prefect. Great place to stay! :-)

“Not your average Hampton Inn”

Had a wonderful stay in the newly upgraded Hampton. There are 3 to 4 different types of coffee to choose from, plenty of breakfast choices, the beds are soooo comfortable and there are pillow options- firm or soft- not just the single over used extremely flat kind that use to be the standard. And if you can't sit down and have a bit to eat they have snack bags for on-the-go travellers! Best deal around.

“When I visit Bristol VA or Bristol TN this is where I stay everytime!!!”

VERY friendly staff. I visited so many places in my 2 days there so I cant remember the front desks staff's names. But they were very nice and helpfull and even gave me a helpful map of the area to help me find somewhere to eat. This is my hotel of choice whenever I am in the area regardless of price.

“A fine stop off the highway.”

This was a stop on the way down to Florida. We love staying at Hampton Inn's and find a pretty consistent quality. This one was as nice as any. We stayed in a one bedroom suite with two beds and a pull out couch. The full kitchen was not stocked with dishes, glasses, etc., but it was clean and had all that we needed. The bedding was comfortable and the suite spacious. It was such a nice experience that we repeated our stay when we drove home from Florida.

“Convenient place to stay in Bristol”

Hotel is conveniently located right off the interstate. My daughter and I were there for her to audition for a college so we were only there for one night. We are returning guest though. We stayed 6mths ago when we visited the college for the first time, so to me that means alot. It was worth staying at twice. Rooms were clean and the breakfast in the morning is ok, fruit, cereal, bagels and one or two warm items, eggs and gravy. Hot chocolate, tea and coffee. So enough to have something to get you started. Nothing fancy but neither is Bristol, but a nice clean place to feel comfortable to rest your head.

“Nice hotel....a bit isolated”

The hotel was being remodeled but they were doing ther best to accomodate the guests. There is no place to eat and/or or stores within walking distance from the hotel. The morning breakfast was good but a bit overcrowded. Taking a left out of the hotel driveway is extremely dangerous; especially at night.

“Tough to get to”

Very difficult to get to from 81N. The exit is about 4 miles past the hotel, requiring a significant bit of backtracking. Entrance to the hotel is very poorly marked. The driveway is actually marked as the entrance for the other hotel, no sign for the Hampton Inn. It was very confusing, and that was in full daylight. There aren't any places to eat nearby, meaning another trip up the road.

“Thumbs up”

Overall the stay was nice. The staff were friendly despite checking in well past midnight and the bed was a welcome relief that late in the day. Our only complaints were that the water pressure and temperature was not very good in the morning and the entrance is very poorly marked, in fact, its not marked at all.
