“Nice place for the price”

Only complaint - the A/C didn't work so well

“Ruined Toronto for me.”

Where do I even begin? First the hotel looks nothing like it does in the pictures. The pictures make it look like a castle when in reality it is more like a dungeon. This was supposed to be our exciting 'nice' hotel during our vacation and turned out to be the worst one we booked. We were also not told that parking was not provided at the hotel and needed to be booked in advance. Upon going to the pay parking garage we were sent to we discovered they only accept cash. The atm in the hotel was broken so we spent the next hour trying to find a place to get cash out using our visa debit cards - surprise - visa only works as credit there. Our "suite" as they called it was actually just a small room that smelled dreadful. It smelled like someone had been frying spam and garbage together and let it sit and stew in 100 degree weather. It was horrible. But the hotel was booked solid so there was no room swapping. The free wireless is also bogus. The only place you can get this wireless is in the lobby. In the room there is supposedly free wired internet but good luck getting it to work. Don't bother trying to give the help desk a call for help... They will offer none. If you need internet, you'll likely have to go to the lobby. To top off the experience, the free continental breakfast was disgusting. Pretty much the worst I've ever had. All in all, the place is a dump and absolutely not even close to being worth the amount they charge. Do yourself a favor and keep looking.

“It is OK”

Its an alright hotel and best for singles and young couples. It has a restaurant in the basement which is not part of the hotel and they don't let kids in after 10pm because of the bar. That was a drag, because I had my 11 year old son with me. The lobby breakfast buffet in the morning looked pretty awful. Parking is very difficult around there but you can rent a spot from the hotel at an additional cost of $10.00 a day. Need to book it ahead though because there are not many spaces. I would go there again.

room was tiny and the continental breakfast was weak but location was great and it was reasonably priced. i don't know if i would go as far as recommending it to someone but i would stay there again.

“Satisfactorily hotel at a good price”

This hotel is near the Metro station; 5-10 minutes walk. The room was small but clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would go back there again for the price.

“Better than expected”

I was traveling from NYC and I needed a room for one night the week of the G20. This was the only affordable hotel I could find. The hotel was as advertised. Don't expect big spacious rooms. I knew what I was getting and was pleased with the service, the location and the overall quality of the room. The subway was right up the street and could not be easier. The breakfast and the outdoor bar was another plus.

Despite the initial problems, the hotel staff was very nice and the overall facility was very homey!

this stay was horrible, really this hotel sucks!! dirty rooms!!! there are only rooms with one bed, the smallest rooms ever seen, the photos at web page are a fake!!
