Place was good, stay is good. No big supermarket or don don nearby.No shopping center nearby too, need to take train to Ueno for any shopping.

This hotel is so aesthetically pleasing. The decor and vibe is so cool. The rooms are very comfortable and the amenities are plentiful. We had a lovely view of the Tokyo sky tree from our balcony. It’s a short walk to two different train stations so accessibility is good. We tried the breakfast on our last day and enjoyed building our own open face sandwich.

I was thoroughly charmed by Land About. Loved my room. Really enjoyed my long bath. Slept extremely well in the most comfortable hotel bed ever. Even had tasty snack in the hotel restaurant, something I normally avoid. Overall, loved this stay!

Great hotel
The hotel is conveniently located nearby a subway stop with plenty of great restaurants nearby. The rooms are a bit small, but are still very comfortable and clean. The staff were all very kind and accommodating. The breakfast was quite nice, with well-brewed coffee offered alongside the meal.

This was a great place to stay. Close to JR lines, several dining choices nearby. Also close to Ueno area so there was much to entertain ourselves with very close to the hotel. Very clean and excellent service at the hotel. The hotel restaurant was perfect for breakfast.

Overall room is clean and facility is nice and modern. Space is limited like the other Tokyo hotel, there’s not enough space for large suit case. Hotel has beautiful terrace view with Tokyo sky tree. Only reason I don’t give 5 is that there was blood spot on the pillow

We absolutely loved staying at Landabout! We booked about 6 months before staying and got a good deal for staying 14 nights. We used to live in Tokyo and this was the first time coming back to visit since we left. We had a packed 14 day itinerary visiting old friends and old neighbourhoods, as well as making new memories (and lots of shopping). Our room, the standard twin, was plenty big enough to store all our luggage and shopping. The beds were nice and comfy and the minimalist design of the room suited us perfectly. We had a bath every night to soothe our sore muscles after too much walking every day. The water was perfectly hot and the shower pressure was perfect. The location was amazing as we were super close to Ueno park and station, Uguisudani station (for catching the Yamanote line) and Iriya metro station (for the Hibiya line). We spent a lot of time at Ueno park which is so peaceful and calm. We were also able to walk to the charming Yanesen area and around Asakusa. We slept really well, and used the restaurant and laundry facilities which were really useful. The staff were so nice and helpful (especially Hanako). One morning there was a local matsuri and Hanako got photos of us trying on the traditional happi jacket. Highly recommend staying here!

Located near JR yamanote line station. Few convenience stores located nearby Located near Ueno park. Rooms were okay. Larger than previous hotels in Tokyo. Beds comfy, but low down, so could be a problem for some people. Main negative was that the room was not dark at night due to the opposite hotels lights beaming through the window. Even with the curtains closed, this still kept us up. Price wasn’t bad for what we got in return.

We really enjoyed our stay at LANDABOUT Tokyo. The rooms and facilities are clean, modern, and functional. The hotel caters to international tourists and we saw many families there during our stay. Our room’s balcony looked out at the Tokyo Skytree so the night view was beautiful. Staff were extremely helpful, organising a taxi for us at check out so we could avoid the metro peak hour crush to get to Tokyo Station. The attached restaurant/café on the ground floor was great for a morning tea or coffee while planning the day’s adventures. Our only (very) minor confusion/complaint was that although we used the “Please Do Not Disturb” sign as directed by staff to say we didn’t need housekeeping, fresh towels and amenities were left in a bag on our door handle everyday, which seemed to create a lot of unnecessary laundry/plastic waste. The hotel is within 5 minutes’ walking distance from both Uguisudani and Iriya stations. It’s close to many museums and attractions around the Ueno Park area. There’s also plenty of convenience stores around to get snacks or meals. We also really appreciated the complimentary senbei (rice crackers) we received at check-out!

Great place to stay, near Uguisudani Station. About 5 minute walk. Has restaurant and cafe that has great food.

Very modern and nice. Close to train station. Clean and comfortable beds. Very nice connecting rooms for family. Overall a very good vibe.

First Tokyo Trip Memory Maker
This was our first time to stay in a hotel in Tokyo. It was extremely clean and the staff was very helpful. Two things that I wish I had known ahead of time was, first, the beds were mattresses on the floor and with a recent knee injury this made it difficult to get up and down into bed and no place to sit to put on clothes/shoes. The second was the morning breakfast was the same each morning either toast or rice with veggies and eggs and a meat. It was good but I wish I had know to decide if I wanted something different. Other than that our stay was a wonderful memory making trip.

Had laundry facilities as well as bag storage. Staff went above and beyond. We came back for the staff. They are friendly and very helpful. Can’t say enough wonderful things about them

The staff was very nice and spoke English so it was helpful when checking in and out. The restaurant staff were also very helpful, even with limited English ability. A hotel staff member also helped me call a taxi when my phone wasn’t working, and she walked out with me to help with any confusion from the taxi driver. The room was also very nice and they had many amenities you could use during your stay, and some you could take with you (slippers, toothbrush, razors, tea, etc). Overall great hotel

スタッフも感じが良くて、お部屋もとてもきれいでした。 1時くらいに隣の方の話し声が結構聞こえたので、防音面で少しマイナス。。。 それ以外はとても満足してます！
