“Conrad Hilton is on top in Tokyo.”

My husband and I have traveled together for more than forty years and since the mid nineties, we have averaged two overseas trips each year. Being teachers, we want to experience everything about which we teach. The Conrad Hilton is among the top hotels we would recommend. As stated above, the staff is friendly, professional and very competent. We actually made friends with some of the staff there and we were welcomed daily by all personnel we passed as we left and entered the hotel. The personnel were extremely quick to get doors, taxis, etc. The concierge gave us excellent advice to make our stay unforgettable.

“Can"t Wait To Go Back”

The Conrad was a wonderful hotel. Great service, food, location, and a most helpful desk arranging tours, bus pick up, maps, ideas. If possible request a room that looks over Tokyo Bay and the gardens.

“Tokyo's Best”

The hotel is magnificent in every aspect! The food, the room, the view, all are top-rated! The staff are usually friendly and attentive, but a little more smile would be better. Overall a very very pleasant stay!

“The Conrad is a work of art”

The Conrad is so beautiful in its design, that I really found myself stunned sometimes looking at parts of the hotel. It's extremely modern, but with obvious Japanese design influences. It can be somewhat pricey, but I didn't feel that I was getting ripped off - the service is excellent. Only pictures can really show off what the hotel looks like. Although it is technically part of the Hilton family of hotels, it does not feel like a chain. The staff all had very good language skills.

“Excellent hotel”

We recently stayed at the Conrad in Tokyo on our last night in Japan. The hotel is really exceptional, particularly for the price. The lobby on the 28th floor is a wonderful double height space and has beautiful views over a nearby park and Tokyo Bay. Adjacent to the lobby is a very elegant bar where you can sit and enjoy the views over a cocktail or two. Afternoon tea is also served there, a perfect way to see dusk set in over the city. The fitout is very sleek and modern with a Japanese feel. The room was very spacious, beautifully designed, meticulously clean with a very luxurious bathroom. The staff were extremely helpful and spoke good English. I could not fault this hotel.

“Unusually elegant even by Asia's high standards”

The Conrad Tokyo blew my wife and I away with its outstanding interior decoration. Nothing gawdy or showing off like the rather naff Park Hyatt. Instead, very understated but beautiful interiors. The room we had (the cheapest on offer) was 50 square metres, and exceptionally appointed. Really, an absolute pleasure to stay in. The neighbourhood is pretty soulless with the exception of Tsukiji Fish Market and the lovely park opposite, but the Shidome metro below the hotel is on a useful line for Shinjuku and Ginza. Having stayed in most of Tokyo's top rated business hotels, I was shocked to discover such an unsung gem as this.

“Best Hotel in Tokyo”

The hotel was fantastic. We stayed in an executive king room, which was 500 sq feet in size (HUGE) and gave access to the executive lounge which offered free full breakfast, evening drinks and ample amenities. The decor is very modern, simple, and clean. The concierge staff were incredibly friendly, and helpful and helped us book travel outside of Tokyo, as well as with events in the city. Everyone in the hotel spoke wonderful English. Hotel is right at a major subway stop and an intersection with a big train station so travel around Tokyo was very easy. Taking cabs are very expensive, so subway is the way to go. Walkable to major sights, including the famous fish market, great restaurants and shops.

“5 Star Experience”

Everything you'd expect from a 5-star hotel. Great location above the Shiodome subway station. Close to the Ginza.
