"Visited with my partner for 4 nights without our child for the first time. We are regulars for Tenerife and have been for the past 5 years. Booked this as was keeping cost low. Overall the property was really clean and in a good location. Pros; Room was big in size and suitable for what we needed. Free onsite parking was a massive bonus compared to other places we’ve stayed in. Location is ideal for tourists Cons; Communication from the host wasn’t the best - The website is very confusing regarding Air-Con in the room. We checked in late and the room did not have air conditioning. We was offered a portable unit or to upgrade to a ‘superior room’ both for a cost. We also was not told that the poolside bar/cafe was closed for staff holidays for 2 weeks. Whilst I completely agree with allowing the staff to have their well deserved time off, it would have been nice to know this. Due to the bar being closed there wasn’t any way at all to purchase and food or drinks on site. If we had of known this we could have stopped on the way to the hotel and brought stuff with us. We didn’t realise that sunbeds and umbrellas around the pool were a paid for extra. On this occasion we only had 3 full days on holiday so it wasn’t the end of the world, but it we had of brought our daughter and come for a week, €5 for 1 bed and an umbrella per day would of added up. Overall really nice hotel and depending on cost I might stay here again, but would’ve been nice to know more info beforehan"
Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife

"Fantastic hotel in a great location with excellent facilities and entertainment. The hotel is very well maintained and our room was gorgeous and kept spotless throughout our stay. We stayed in a Rock Royalty room with the added perk of 15th-floor lounge access which was well worth it. We also had a separate VIP check in on the 13th floor. The staff were fantastic and breakfast in the RR lounge was excellent, with plenty of choice and eggs your way cooked to order. I had Eggs Benedict most mornings which I really enjoyed. We stayed All Inclusive and were impressed by the quality and variety of both the food and drinks. There were plenty of options and the standard was consistently high. We spent most of our time at the adults-only Eden Pool, which had a great atmosphere. The DJs played excellent music throughout the day without it being too overbearing or intrusive. The spa was one of the best I’ve visited. The thermal circuit was fantastic and even included a snow room. I also had a facial which was incredibly relaxing. My partner used the gym and found it had everything he needed. Our only disappointment was that the Friday White Party was cancelled due to the weather, but given how great the entertainment was throughout our stay, we’re sure it would’ve been another highlight of the holiday. Overall, a fantastic holiday and we wouldn’t hesitate to return! 😁"

"Great stay. Room was fantastic, with beautiful wood ceiling providing historic charm. Location was perfect, steps from old town close to shops and restaurants and sights. Staff were friendly and helpful, in particular at the Vinoteca where we had lovely local wines and the doorman who provided best food recommendations. Highly recommend."

"Detailed review: Apartment is nice and spacious but be aware of these things aren’t in description when booking. These rules were on a paper given to us at check in. My stay was alright, but i personally wouldnt book again. 1. Your room won’t be cleaned unless youre staying more than 7 nights. No change of bedsheets, bins, anything. they do provide extra bin bags and a mop- but our mop had bird poo on it from being left on the balcony😬 2. Towels can be changed at €2 PER towel 3. There is no ac, fans have to be rented(€?) from reception. 4. Safe also has to be paid for at €3 per day. 5. Breakfast is not a huge variety as previous reviews stated, it is a very basic breakfast of the same beans, hash browns, sausages and sweet items every day. No veggie meat alternatives. 6. The sewage system stinks, the bathroom sink would smell a lot randomly. 7. our mini fridge smelled HORRIBLE!couldn’t open it for more than 5 seconds without a disgusting smell filling the room, everything you put in there smells bad after. 8. There was a short power cut during our stay- but this wasn’t too bad. Why we didn’t report the smells is because we just kept the fridge closed in the end& the sink smell would come & go. Overall, yes the room is nice but do not book expecting aparthotel amenities because it is JUST self-serve. If you are prepared for this, then it’s fine but i personally wasn’t. Location is decent, some shops& restaurants nearby. proper beaches+strips 20mins away by car."
