“Highly Recommended”
Selection of food and drinks is excellent, pool area also clean, tidy and plenty room. The spa and gym is great, staff are friendly and very helpfull and the 2 guys who organise the entertainment and activities are brilliant, great with kids. Evening entertainment is cheesy but better then the norm......10/10 all round brilliant holiday and we will be back.
“Great Value in a good location”
Staayed at the La Siesta first week in March 07. The hotel was in a great location in the best area and close to all the top hotels around Parque Santiago 4. No complaints about the hotel, food was buffet style and eat as much as you want, pool and spa were excellent and the room was probably the most spacious we have satyed in. Taxi from the airport to the door was only 20 euros each way. Would definately use this hotel again!!
“Hotel great, be airport aware”
Everything about the hotel was great--room, location, food, pool, spa. Be sure you are aware of which airport on Tenerife you are flying in (both have 3 names each), as there are no airport shuttles available, either with the hotel or a private company, if you are not renting a car, something I had not seen in any other tourist area I've been to in the world. The northern airport is a 100 Euro and one hour cab ride from this hotel; your only transportation alternative when the local buses are not running.
“La Siesta”
Great hotel, but AVOID room 180/181. These are above the hotel bar and 180 was directly above the BBQ! So we didnt get any sleep that night.
“Excellent hotel, cannot wait to go back”
We stayed here for 1 week in July and had a fantastic time, we found the food excellent although we heard people complain about lack of choice, I believe hot breakfast, cereal, toast, fruit, croissants, tea, coffee and orange juice is more than I would keep in my cupboard at home, the evening meals were always similiar, but still very enjoyable. Brilliant childrens entertainment with very friendly staff with high levels of english and other languages, also good entertaiment for adults and children alike later in the evening, definately try the bora bora cocktail too, very yummy
“Can't wait to go back!”
I had a great time at our hotel the food was great and the location was awesome! The only thing I would not recommend doing is upgrading your room. My husband and I did that and we were not very impressed with the extras that we were supposed to get. Other than that I loved the hotel and the workers were really nice. I can't wait to go back and stay at the same hotel but, only for longer this time.
“Excellent hotel.”
Had never been to Tenerife before, arrived home extremely sad to be home. We had a fantastic time, the hotel was fantastic, staff were friendly, all could speak excellent English! It was close to the town but away from the noise. The pool was great and there was no shortage of entertainment. I would recommend this hotel to anyone thinking to visit tenerife.
“Christmas Holiday at La Siesta”
We (a family of 4 adults) spent a week at La Siesta over Christmas 2007.This was the first time we had ever been away over Christmas and really did not know what to expect. I was concerned at some of the reviews (esp about the food) I read just before we left, but thankfully they were completely unfounded. The hotel is very well situated, away from the noisy 'nightlife' area but with in easy walking distance of the beaches and Los Cristianos. The hotel staff could not have been more helpful. The food in the restaurant was not gourmet standard, but there was always something inviting to choose and you certainly don't go hungry.I can only think that the bad reviews were from people looking for fish fingers or burgers and chips, which (surprisingly) you don't get. The weather was good and sunny for at least 1/2 a day everyday which was great for Dec 22-29, and there was plenty of sun beds around the pool, although you had to be quick to get a good spot. Overall we had a very relaxing time and would recommend this hotel and location.
“Lovely hotel, staff and food, going back for sure!”
Great costumer service, this people are going the extra mile for their guests, if u go there to have a great time, that's what u get, great varaiety of food, and the best Sangria you can have in Tenerife!!! Not to forget, the entertainment team is the best, u can never get bored with them, you'd wish they never finnish the shift.Overall,a great place!!
“Best holiday ever”
We were accompanied by two grandchildren(7 & 9 years)who were entertained by staff all week.Room excellent and well maintained.Good selection of food at breakfast and dinner. Hotel rules of no balls/inflatables in pool,no towels on balcony is great,it leaves room for all and keeps good appearance. Kids are insisting we repeat the trip next year!!!
