It was such a unique place to stay, in a former Tasmanian Hydro village. The buildings, indeed the whole place, was immaculate, easily the nicest place we stayed in while in Tasmania. The house was both beautifully preserved outside and in, and also tastefully modernised in the bathrooms.
It felt a little bit like the town out of the 'Lost' tv series, this beautifully presented village in the middle of nowhere!
There was no wifi, which was actually really nice. We all sat and watched tv together.
The one limitation was the lack of food and dining options, it made mealtimes quite limited, and while there was a pre-arrival meal option the cost was quite expensive at $70 for two courses.
This was the only negative on a very great stay.
