Hidden gem
After spending almost 3 weeks in France we found a hidden gem - spacious rooms decorated just as the hotel name implies - lots of angels. Modern bathrooms so you'll be very comfortable. The food at their restaurant was also great. Since this is not a primary tourist city, the prices are also very reasonable. Great place

Hotel is very quirky, with themed rooms. Maybe too quirky for my taste. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location of hotel was very central too main square.

Parking was an issue. We had to use public parking and had to find it ourselves. No reduced tariffs via the hotel. The site says 'parking available/ The hotel is located on a very narrow street without parking so the hotel should provide discounts and directions to parking areas

Very Friendly and Helpful staff
Only able to stay 1 night and arrived late and left early so can't give a full account but staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Only down sides was didn't take advantage of valet parking so had to park a little way away and drag luggage to hotel, and bed wasn't the comfiest we've ever had. This aside I would certainly stay again and would recommend.

Nice stay
Great place to stay, very clean quiet and well located in the center of the city. We had a nice breakfast and the owner was very accommodating. We definitely would come back. The hotel has lots of character.

Quiet and comfortable
Very comfortable and quiet hotel with a unique ambience and an interesting collection of historic costumes, portraits, furniture and statues from the Renaissance period. Each room is themed, we had the Parissienne room. Staff were friendly and the hotel is in a good location near the main square. Castres is a pleasant town but pretty quiet on the Sunday of a holiday weekend!

Very charming boutique hotel
Very surprising hotel. Old boutique hotel (no lift), few rooms, right downtown and surprisingly silent all night. Charming hotel with a small but very nice lounge. Rooms are decorated in a old fashion way but with style. Large bathroom, with a large bathtub. Overall very nice hotel, perfect for a short stay in Castres. The breakfast is quite disappointing however.

Tres beau sejour dans cette hotel remarquable avec une decoration style renaissance,le personnel est remarquable et professionnel,les lieux sont propres et distingués. Nous avons eu un tres bel acceuil, la chambre etait joliment décoré, avec une machine à café expresso et des dosettes pour la bienvenue, un seche cheveux des peignoirs,un lit king size très confortable. Hotel se situe pleinement da s le centre ville de castres ce qui permet de découvrir cette charmante ville a pieds, nous avons pu profiter aussi du petit déjeuner du matin ou il y avait de tout pour bien attaqué une journée. In billard et des jeux société ont été mis a disposition pour les clients,et je note aussi un tres beau bar lounge ou vous pouvez profiter le soir avant de sortir. Je recommande fortement l'hotel renaissance, qui merite largement leur 4 étoiles, je remercie l'ensemble du personnel pour cette agreable sejour, si un jour nous repassons vers castres nous n'hesiterons pas à revenir dans cette hôtel.
