I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the room. Little touches like the 4 way next to the bed showed the care taken to ensure you have everything you need. The bed was really comfortable and the staff were very helpful and friendly. I was surprised for the price that it was so spotless and comfortable. I will always stay here again when passing through.

This was our second stay at Roydon's and won't be our last. Room was very clean, bed was extra comfortable, the staff are lovely and very helpful. It's a great bonus to find a great place that accommodates dogs.

Pet friendly, clean and fantastic
Roydon's Motor Inn is a favorite of ours as it is pet friendly, clean and the service provided is fantastic. The owners/managers go above and beyond.

Affordable pet friendly motel close to CBD
My husband and I have stayed at Roydons Motor Inn at Tamworth for many years. It is a pet friendly motor Inn where our 2 small dogs were able to stay in our room. Across the road from the Motor Inn is Tamworth Sporting ovals and walkways. A great place to let your dog off leash. The motel rooms have all the mod cons and the contents are updated regularly. They are very clean and even though you are on a busy road it is very quiet. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. They cook a very generous bacon and poach eggs on toast at a moderate price. The local Chinese Restaurant has a delivery service and the Malay/Chinese food is of a high standard and delivery is prompt. Walking distance to shopping centre. We travel a lot and the Roydons Motor Inn is one of the best we have stayed in at affordable price.

Although an older motel the rooms have been refurbished to a high standard with obvious thought to the comfort of the guests. Best shower we have ever experienced in a motel. We have stayed at many bottles and this would rate with the best of them.

We have stayed at Roydons Motor Inn multiple times and will stay again. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, the water pressure in the shower was great, the location is convenient and parking is right outside your door. Great value for money. Couldn't fault it.

We stayed overnight and were impressed by the room. It was very clean, very modern, very comfortable and also I liked that there is a designated parking per room which guarantees that we are always parked close to our room, quite handy when unloading things from the car.

We travelled as a family of 4 (2 kids of 11 and 8). We booked the family room which had a queen sized bed and 2 x single beds. The property looks older from the outside and is a small motel. It is however immaculate and very well set out and organised. Check in was fast and the lady who helped us was very friendly and welcoming. We stayed in room 8 (family room) and upon entering, we’re very surprised with how clean the room was and how well fitted out, including very appeasing decor. The whole room was very comfortable from the beds to the pillows and bedding etc, everything was again very clean and we felt very relaxed. The room and bathroom looks to have been recently renovated to a great standard. There is a toaster, kettle and microwave for convenience and the internet speed is excellent. The room was very well equipped with cutlery, glasses and bathroom amenities. You could easily stay a week in this property and enjoy it. The rest of the motel has a pool and outdoor areas and convenient room numbered parking. We were very surprised and happy with our decision to stay at Roydon’s Motor Inn. Would definitely stay again if in Tamworth, it’s a hidden gem, that is priced really well as it’s much nicer than the larger chain accommodation in town.
