We chose 4 different hotels for our taipei trip, which is Okura, FX, The landis and Royal Seasons hotel. Okura was the best. Service were excellent. The staffs were very helpful and nice. The room were great. They have separate room for shower and toilet. While you were taking the shower you can watch the TV in the same time. The hotel also can allow you to leave your luggage with them for few days after you checked out.

The staff always look after you with the utmost care and consideration. This was the second time I have stayed at this hotel and I can only say that the hotel not only has wonderful rooms but the staff go out of their way to accommodate request and quarries.

My friend and I got to stay in 2 different rooms as we travelled to other parts of Taiwan in between. We loved how the rooms have different artistic designs based on the different levels. Despite having no windows, it doesn't matter much as we were out most of the time. Facilities and location wise, there's nothing to pick on. However, do not expect too much service from the concierge.
Friendliness of the staff, cleanliness and comfort of the room, easy access to 101 Tower and all that, and the best part is, there is a 7-11 right below the hotel!
Some will say having 7-11 food is a horrible way to enjoy Taiwan food, but I will say that even by trying out the 7-11 food, you will see how particular Taiwanese is, towards quality product. Not to mention those food are delicious too albeit a microwave oven type of instant food.
Staff in this hotel are all extremely polite, friendly and helpful. Don't forget to ask the staff of tips around Taiwan, they are always very helpful.
In-room wifi is very good too!

The staff were polite and helpful. On our arrival, the only staff took our rain coats away to dry, gave us 2 maps and highlighted sites around worth visiting.
The hotel was renovated a year ago and hence all the facilities are new. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the aircond was quiet. The bathroom is small yet we can bath without wetting the floor. The breakfast was simple yet very delicious. The food was targetting at the Japanese tourists and soup and vegatables were served. We enjoyed the stewed eel in one breakfast and mapuo tofu in another. Japanese coffee was self-served throughout the day.
